Highlights of Umbraco 14

Extension first: The back office has been completely rebuilt with expandability as a starting point.

Future-proof technology: The back office is built on modern web standards, eliminating the risk of outdated JavaScript frameworks.

Completely headless: The content and media APIs that were previously introduced have now been expanded with APIs for the back office. This allows Umbraco to be used without ever having to log in to the back office.

Familiar environment: Although the back office has been completely rebuilt, it remains the familiar Umbraco environment that we all know and appreciate.

Umbraco 14

Umbraco 14, the largest update since Umbraco 9, where the back-end has been completely rebuilt. In this latest Short Term Supported (STS) version of the Umbraco CMS, the front-end of Umbraco has been addressed. The heavily outdated AngularJS has been discarded, and the entire back office has been rebuilt with extensibility as the primary driving force. This version is now available and is based on the latest Microsoft .NET version 8.0.4.

So for example, if the current version is 13.1 or 13.2, we start by implementing version 13 with new customers or updating with existing customers who wish to do so.
